iCloud has revolutionised the way we share our music, images and documents across all our iDevices. It has become the hub of our digital lives and helps us keep everything in sync. In light of the successful implementation of the iCloud service, Apple has decided to scrap the iWork.com public beta which was basically doing the work of saving our documents on Apple servers before the onset of the iCloud service.

Earlier today Apple sent out emails to iWork users stating that it would soon shut down the service and people won’t be able to access their saved documents after 31st July, 2012. Apple has advised users to download the documents saved on the iWork servers before the above mentioned date, as afterwards the service will effectively be discontinued. We recommend our readers to download all their data from iWork.com at the earliest.
